Clinical Supervision

I’m an AHPRA-approved Supervisor offering supervision that draws on the same relational, somatic, compassion- focused and EMDR-informed approaches I use in client work to support how we hold the complexities and dilemmas that we carry as clinicians. Part of this is tending to what creates safety for you as a clinician, so that we can keep showing up for this work over time. This is a space that holds the needs of your clients, your own needs as a clinician, and what’s moving in between the two. Your own experience in the room, what comes up within you and between you and the client, is welcomed and held here, considered as part of our reflection equally to the client’s experience, and will also help us understand and inform what might be going on for them.

I try to hold an open, curious stance in this work, exploring the intersections we each carry and how we sit within them. That includes holding our own biases and blind spots so that we can minimise harm while supporting others to understand their own processes as well.

I also hold a special interest in supervising psychologists, therapists, and allied health professionals who are Autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD, particularly those who are late-diagnosed and navigating their own process of uncovering and understanding this alongside their clinical work.

Individual Supervision

A space to bring what’s actually happening for you and the client in your clinical work: the moments that stay with you or that you’re unsure of, the parts of the work that are hard to hold alone, or simply the review of a client you haven’t spoken about for a while. We work at a pace that allows us to reflect on these processes, while also considering where you’re at in your development across the arc of your career as a psychologist, therapist, or allied health professional.

Group Supervision

A small, closed group of four, meeting monthly, for late-diagnosed Autistic, ADHD, or AuDHD psychologists, therapists, and allied health professionals. Together, we explore what it means to adjust your practice and make your own accommodations, while still holding the needs of the clients in front of you, session by session. Capacity is something we work with here, not something to be judged, however much or little there is to bring on a given week.
